Romantic Suite at Base of Remarkables

Mediocre. No local shops, the local cafe was ok-ish. Traffice was worse than Auckland traffic and the accommodation pa Positive: Comfy bed, nice linen. Relatively clean & tidy. Very quiet. Negative: Front door entry is difficult. Relatively high step to get inside, hard with heavy bags. The digital door lock is a nightmare. Especially at night in the rain. The biggest put off dor this place is the location. The streets are narrow, the properties are very small, with extrememy limited on and off street parking. The place we stayed at had zero onsite parking and zero parking on the street anywhere close to the property. Sometimes we had to park in other streets. This would have been really bad if we had have been skiing this time (originally we were going to be skiing). Aso the queue to exit the Hanleys farm area at 8am is insne and almost made our friends late for their flight. there need to be info given before booking so people know about the crap parking and traffic issues.

16A Grain Close Rd. Positive: Less than half an hour outside town but overall stay was comfortable, fully equiped, very easy to check-in access. Negative: No comment.

Excellent stay Positive: Very quiet and peaceful location, clean and comfortable apparent, easy to check in and out. The bed was soft and the bedding was spotlessly clean. Negative: I liked everything
